The Girls Track and Field team placed 4th at last Thursday's Best of the West meet. Abigail Dunn captured 1st place in the 800 meter run while Kaylie Holbert placed 2nd in the pole vault. 3rd Place finishers were Dee Bourquein with a new PR of 9' in the pole vault; the 4x800 meter relay of Kayla Kirby, Elana Campton, Lydia Brinkman, and Ella Russell; and the 4x400 meter relay of Abigail Dunn, Abby Schoemaker, Kaylie Holbert and Kayla Kirby. Other placers included Maddie Cox, Savannah Davison, Paola Ayitsewou, Aaliyah Cotton, Peyton Reid, Kylie Shuja, Alex Jones, and Caragan Connelly.

The Boys Track and Field team finished 3rd at the Best of the West. Jorden Thompson in the pole vault, Mason Richardson in the 400 meter dash, and Hayden Rogers in the 3200 meter run all placed 1st. 2nd place finishers included Jacob Dearwester in the shot put; and the 4x400 meter relay team of Mason Richardson, Rory Summers, Parker Hotopp, and Adrian Krull. 3rd Placers included Grant Meibers in the high jump, Rory Summers in the 800 meter run; and the 4x100 meter relay of Jorden Thompson, Adrian Avent, Grant Meibers, and Adrian Krull.
